Be Prepared

I am always that girl who will run to the post office down the street or to the food store dressed. You won't ever find me with my glasses on, hair up and in sweats. Maybe a hoodie, a fashionable one though with jeans. If I go out looking a mess, I will inevitably run into multiple people I know. Therefore, I am always ready when I go out to see whom ever I come across.

This was my lunch outfit...a little over the top...maybe? But it is better to be prepared for anything that comes your way.

I love this tank with the added beading, but I of course needed to accessorize!

Since I purchased this chevron necklace, it is so easy and adds a little something extra to outfits

I love to stack these bracelets! The bigger the arm party, the better!

Friday Faves

These are a few items that make my Friday that much better!! Who doesn't love hot pink nails? TanWise is the best sunless tanner, it is fool proof! Do you remember Love's Baby Soft from when we were kids? I have been using the Sugar Kiss version and it smells great and brings back great childhood memories. Also, Sour Patch Kid gum...ummm need I say more? Addict!

What are some of your Friday Faves?

all about white

If you follow me on Instagram, then you saw I teased you with the first picture of my outfit. I have been living in white jeans lately! I love the style of these Gap jeans because they are a perfect blend of boyfriend and skinny! I also broke out my vest that I was salivating for! I personally think accessories make the whole outfit, no matter what the occasion. I love to stack my Bourbon & Boweties bracelets for an army party that is so right now! And I mean who doesn't love a little chevron added to the outfit?

Military style

I am a sucker for anything Military style related. Camo, Military green and Olive....check! They are all in my closet! I recently purchased a new military vest and I'm already thinking of all the fabulous ways I can wear it and transition it from season to season.

Do you have a favorite item or style?

I love to layer with a Denim shirt like this!

I wore my vest mostly like this during the winter.

I love the shorts and the graphic tee underneath

I love everything about this

Mixing a graphic tee and the military jacket is so chic

Lots of layers, but a perfect winter look

Lots of layers, but it works and looks effortless casual

I have a chevron necklace just like this! This will most likely be my fall uniform.

Romping Around

I always love a good romper! I much rather wear a romper in the heat of the summer instead of a maxi. I just wish they had snaps between your legs like the ones for babies do, so that when nature calls it is easier.

I am a little fussy when it comes to rompers. *shocker!!* I have a long torso, so sometimes the actual romper won't be long enough. Sounds silly, but its true. Also, what is the deal with long sleeve rompers? Don't get me wrong, I love shorts and a long sleeve T, but I don't want my onsie to be long sleeved. I can't pull them off, but they look cute on other people.

I love to layer on the necklaces or bracelets, throw on wedges and rock a good romper for a night out on the town. They are also good if you are just running out. Simple and easy!

These are some pieces that I love!!! You can dress them up or down, and are all easy!

What are some rompers that you are loving or are you not a fan of the adult onsie?

Oh what to wear

These are some recent outfits. I'm sure if you follow me on Instagam then you have seen these. I Please let me know if there is anything you want to know where it is from.

I have been trying to step up my outfits lately both clothing and accessory wise. Let me know what you think!!

And a close up of my accessories

Oh Bauble

Back when they first launched, I was  Bauble Bar fan. However, then I had a bad experience and swore them off for awhile!!! Even let my vault points expire, I know I know, awful! I still got the emails though and I would quickly delete them. Last week, I decided to give them a second shot.

I loved the way the packaging was. It was not like this in the beginning. This is better! However, I want the black jewelry bags that say BaubleBar back! They are great to store your jewels in when traveling.

How cute is this? I love the YAY! sticker

These are the three pieces I got!

I am very happy with what I got and you will see in my outfit posts that I have been wearing these often.

The Short of It

When it comes to shorts I have a bit of an obsession. I am very particular about my denim shorts however. They need to have just the right amount of distressing. I had this fabulous pair of Joe's shorts when I was a fatty, and now they completely fall down even when they are buttoned. I cannot get rid of them, but getting them taken in just won't be the same. I am constantly on the hunt for a pair of shorts that I love just as much as those Joe's. I think I may have found a runner up this year.

I am that girl that wear shorts at the most ridiculous time of the year. For New Year's Eve with the girls, I rocked sequin shorts. For my birthday at the end of March, I rocked leather shorts. That's just me.

I like my denim shorts to be a little bit roomier in the leg, but not total boyfriend style. I also like them ripped!!! I also like them to be a DECENT length, (not Bermuda's) otherwise, your butt is totally on display! no bueno!!

These are some current styles that I love.

Let me know if you have found any other awesome shorts!

Sigma Review

As promised this is the review for the Sigma brushes I recently purchased. I have had them a little over a month, so I think thats enough time.

I only bought 4 brushes, 3 eye blending ones and the cult fave Kabuki face one. The face one was a gift, so that I cannot review.

In my brush collection, I have options, which I love. However, I find myself using my Sigma's over my Mac ones. The Sigma brushes are much softer, have more bristles and I find I have less fallout when I use them vs. the Mac ones. I should do one eye with Sigma's and the other with Mac's.

My collection

Also, have you ever had a Mac brush, where the bristles just break? It starts to look ratty and you have a hard time achieving what look you want because the shape of the brush is now a little different.

You can see here how the bristles just look worn.

This has absolutely happened to me, and that is one of the reasons I tried Sigma. I feel like they are stronger than Mac, yet feel softer on the skin.

 Similar Mac and Sigma Brush

If you are on the fence, I say bite the bullet and purchase!
